Paintball

Paintball is an activity where you are given guns (markers) which fire paint pellets. You fire these pellets at members of the opposite team and if you hit them they are out of that particular game. It doesn't hurt as much as people say, unless you are unlucky enough to get hit in the right place. Even then a sting is all you feel. A great fun game that can have up to 10 different scenarios in a day. Nearly all towns have a paintball package. Most have a paintball site within a quarter of an hour to 30 minute drive. This highly popular activity can be combined with a motor sport or other shooting sports. All sites provide lunch and refreshements all day. Most of the time lunch is included in the price but check to see.

Go Karting

An absolute must for any competitive stag & hen groups amongst you. Go-karting can work in two ways, one is an endurance race where you split into teams of two or three, each team that has done the most laps in a given time period wins. The other way is a Grand Prix, this is where you have individual races and heats, you drive as an individual and try to win all your races, if you do you have won. Driving usually lasts about two hours but can be as long as three hours or as short as one depending on the size of your group, you will usually spend 30mins to 1 hour in the kart, price differences in the packages reflect this.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

Clay Pigeon Shooting is still a great sport, the guns don't have the kind of kick back some of you will have been led to believe, there are amazingly different ways to shoot a clay, from along the ground in a rapid response shoot out, vertical, hoizontal and even through trees. It is not as easy as it looks and is a very underestimated activity. Worth a shot but you may want to combine clays with another event. Different sites have different clay shooting options and offer 25-35 clays for your money.
